This $150 million measure, matched by $100 million in federal funds, will support essential upgrades to levees and pump stations along the Oregon side of the Columbia River—an area where infrastructure hadn’t seen improvement since the 1948 flood that destroyed the city of Vanport. Working alongside Flood Safe Columbia River, we supported public relations, messaging, voter contact, and grassroots advocacy efforts to secure broad public support for a safer future.
